INTRODUCTION

Hadleigh Histories brings history to life in your school.

 

         

 

 

Our team of experienced education leaders will bring your topic to life with our range of artefacts and replica armour and weapons.

 

Through interactive talks, historical enquiry and engaging activities, your children will not only have a greater understanding of the period they are studying they will have a lot of fun along the way.

 

We currently offer a Stone Age to Iron Age Day, a Celts to Romans Day, and an Anglo-Saxon Day for up to 3 classes.

APRIL 2021

 

Session 1:

Interactive talk - Very good to see the children having the chance to look at and hold so many artefacts.

 

Session 2:

Great - really immersive and getting the children thinking. Great idea for mosaic work and putting the pottery shards together.

 

Session 3:

Really fantastic to get the children to try out life in the army.

DECEMBER 2020

 

Session 1:

A lovely session thank you! The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the talk, seeing all the different artefacts and getting the opportunity to touch some of them as well.

 

                   

 

Session 2:

A real hands on session full of practical and informative activities. Quote from a class pupil "It was awesome".

 

 

Session 3:

The children loved all the activities in this session especially being Roman soldiers and using the slingshots.

Yes, definitely.

 

Overall comment:

Thank you so much for a wonderful day. We have all thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

 

We always request school feedback to check we are on the right track and make modifications to future sessions if necessary to engage the children fully and support the school curriculum.
